"Excellent old school hotel. Fully refurbished on the inside with a wonderful, huge open lobby space. The outside facilities need a bit of a paint job maybe (also the inside roof), but otherwise, a great place to stay. Breakfast is very nice, there is a great lap pool in addition to a normal pool, an excellent fully equipped gym (one of the best I've seen in hotels), and some nice dining options. "

"My family and I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt Muscat and it was a great experience! It was our first family trip after having our baby and the staff was AMAZING! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. The hotel is very charming and welcoming. You can tell that it is a bit older but not in a negative way. All facilities were clean and easy to use. "Worst hotel ive been in Oman. Toilet doesnt flush. No water in the faucet. Room is old. The reception area is dim and not all lights are opened. When we checked the pool it looks dirty and not appealing as others come there for swimming lessons. The whole hotel looks really old and definitely needs to be renovated all of it. Never coming back there ever again. We paid for 2nights but since it is realy bad we stayed for 1night and left. Terrible terrible terrible!"
