Pleasant stay

My first time with Expedia and it turned out to be good. Resort is small and well maintained right opposite beach. Very courteous staff and amazing hot food served. It's completely apt for a night stay with Janjira fort 4kms away. I feel they just need to get little new furniture like resort chairs etc . And pillows of the room need to be soft.. apart from that everything is very good.

Very nice location.... Beach front villas .,. Food quality was good ,,,,,, staff was also very co operative..... Room size was large and comfortable ,,,,, visit atleast once,,,,

Comfortable stay

Slightly lower ratings for this review are for the reason because you always feel things can improve. But this trip was one of the best I have had. 1) First, the property is beach facing :) so location is impeccable. 2) I will give 5 stars to the hotel staff. They are very helpful and caring. 3) The food was simply awesome. If you like Maharashtrian food then you will have a great time during breakfasts (Had breakfast that included aloo paratha, kanda poha, misal pav and sabudana khichadi with masala chai). Also, other food options (for lunch and dinner) are well prepared and reasonably priced. 4) Car parking available. 5) Couple friendly place This is probably the best place to stay if you are around Murud.

Good Place for couples, family and friends outing

I had a one day one night stay at the hotel in Sept 2014, the stay was quite pleasant. Me and my partner enjoyed the stay to the core. There are few good and bad points I wanna make here: Good: - Very close to the beach - Enough light on the beach area close to the hotel hence you can spend good time on beach during late night hours as well - Perfect for family with kids, lot of space for kids to play and enjoy - Food was excellent - breakfast, lunch and dinner which was included in the booking price - Very friendly and helping staff Bad: - Rooms are not clean up to the mark and are little smelly. May be little thorough cleaning and room fresher shall do the wonder - Drinking bottles are not provide, you need to purchase it separately. I think at least two bottles per day should be provided given the amount of money is charged! Cheers!

Fantastic Service and great Location

To start with the Location - its just perfect, right on the beach but there isn't much apart from this resort in Murud so if you plan to step out of the resort or go sightseeing, that would be a disappointment. But if you plan on staying in the resort and hanging out by the beach, this is an ideal resort with fantastic service and good food at reasonable prices. The rooms were decent, nothing over the top or great but you get what you pay for. The only issue we faced was that whilst booking the room on the website, the room described was not the room we were given and the hotel staff argued that the website made a mistake and hence we were downgraded to a simpler room. Anyways, was a delightful trip.

Extremely pleasant small resort, very well run

The location is beautiful, just by the beach and close to the small town of Murud; also close to Janjira Fort, that is both surprising and an amazing experience. The accommodation is simple and quite basic, but clean and well looked after. The management of the place is excellent; the staff are all very friendly, efficient and welcoming. The food is excellent and worth coming to the resort for... It grows on you.

Great find!

Me and my boyfriend were visiting from the US and were looking for a good place to stay on our visit to Janjira fort. Overall we were very happy with the resort, especially given how disconnected it is from the major cities. *Pros: Western style toilets with toilet paper. They offer bed tea, staff was very helpful with information about the area, the resort was very well maintained; For families with kids the resort has a play area with hammocks to relax on. The resort has a private access to the beach. The hotel has a breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. The breakfast was just okay; They didn't have too many juice or cereal choices, but they had an omelet station. Dinner buffet was delicious! They had lots of options for vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians, but the highlight of the dinner was the perfectly cooked mutton and chicken and the fruit custard. *Cons: When the roll of toilet paper ran out, we didn't have an extra in the room. We had to go get one from the office. The bed tea service was supposed to start at 7:30 but by the time we got our tea they were already getting ready to serve breakfast at 8:30 so it wasn't much of a "bed tea" anyway. Our sheets were not clean, they smelled moldy / musty. Also, I felt like the bathroom was a little small and crummy and the TV was tiny as well.
