"W hi at an incredible surprise when we checked in. So much greater than the pics The History of the place, and all the amenities. The room was spectacular looking over the park and canal. So peaceful. Yet it was so close to everything. This was the crown jewel in our visit to Netherlands. We fell in love with Utrecht. I will recommend Karel-V as top place to stay. The staff were so helpful getting us to the hotel when we got lost. Sent a taxi for us. Thankyou so much for such a memorable time."

"Definitely recommend! I was only there for a night stop but I wish I would have stayed longer. The hotel was very well located, nice and clean. It was also pretty quiet when I was there and I slept very well. And I arrived pretty late because of a train delay but the staff were super nice and understanding."

"What a great find. An amazing conversion of an old church which has resulted in a stylish, spacious bar and restaurant area. The room is compact (as advertised) but contained all we needed. The bed was really comfortable and the aircon worked efficiently. The pre booked breakfast was excellent and good value. We walked around the pretty canals and found a lovely vegetarian restaurant for dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful. "

"Very confusing on arrival as I didnt realise the hotel entrance was inside a shopping centre, but once inside, it was really convenient for everything we needed."
