Top Municipality of Opmeer Hotel Reviews

Distrikt Hotels Amsterdam Zaandam

10/10 Excellent

"The staff were very helpful"

Zaan Hotel Amsterdam - Zaandam

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent hotel very close to Zaandam train station, with excellent access to other train stations in Amsterdam (Centraal, Sloterdijk, Lelylaan). Good, inexpensive restaurants near the station. A modern, semi-industrial neighborhood -- don't expect historical Amsterdam! A great place to stay if you have a reason to stay in Zaandam."

Manzo's Suites

10/10 Excellent

"If you can't climb stairs and big steps, this isn't for you. It's a great looking suite. The bed was comfortable and the shower is large (don't know why they are obsessed with clear bathrooms though). Make sure you have the lights on overnight for the steps in the suite because you could easily forget about them. Surprisingly quiet considering the hustle & bustle outside where everyone gathers to eat/drink. Perfect distance for a smoke on the walk to the train station and it feels safe at night. It's a small 2 stop train journey from Amsterdam central. Has a few shops to get your groceries, fast food, Primark etc. Have stayed in the Monument previously and really likes the hotel then. The suites are a step up."

easyHotel Amsterdam Zaandam

10/10 Excellent

"What is there to say? Clean, basic room. No frills, but a comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom. It’s a little odd since the hotel is a couple of floors of an office building, but don’t let that put you off. About a 3 minute walk to the train station, and right out your door is a cute shopping street with all of your necessities. The train station is on both a direct line to Schiphol airport and Amsterdam Centraal so getting around is easy. If you need a place to crash that’s affordable and spitting distance from Amsterdam, this is your spot."

Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant De Oude Gevangenis - Alkmaar

10/10 Excellent

"Staying at this hotel was an incredible and unique experience! The way the old prison has been transformed into a modern hotel is absolutely brilliant. The historic atmosphere is preserved perfectly, and the clean rooms are very comfortable. The staff is clearly understaffed and overwhelmed with duties, but they work incredibly hard and do their absolute best to keep the atmosphere and everything else perfect. Both the breakfast and parking options were excellent. Highly recommended!"
