Our room was strange, there were four of us in a room with 3 bunk beds. The entire hotel was extremely clean, everything new. The decoration and vibe of the place are very good. The bathroom was huge and comfortable with the toilet separate from the showers. It is not in the center but you can walk there or use the subway. Breakfast is not included but it is excellent. Very convenient parking within the same property. What I didn't like is that it doesn't have a refrigerator or anything to be able to eat something in the room. Without a doubt a hotel to recommend.

I loved staying here, I liked that it was a bit outside of the city center but it’s 2 transit stops into the center of everything. It was beautiful with all the snow, the breakfast was great, the rooms were clean and I appreciated that the lights would turn off automatically in spaces where people weren’t walking. I definitely plan to stay here again when I return to Munich.

This hotel is so pretty & very accessible to the train station. Reception staff members were pleasant, accommodating & helpful. I highly recommend this hotel & will definitely come back next time I’m in Munich.

Great place! Staff were very helpful towards us tourists and even gave me a few lessons in German, haha. Breakfast buffet is great, and restaurant staff were accommodating after regular hours. Our only complaint is that the AC quit one night and, being it was July, our room became "toasty."

Picked this hotel randomly - good access to city centre and other places of interest. Modern, clean and completely appropriate for our family stay. Our room had 3 bunks and great storage cupboards. There was also 2 showers and one toilet. There were supermarkets close by to purchase provisions. The bar was enjoyed in the evening. Definitely recommend.

We were very happy with the room. The only thing that brought down the score is the lack of extra pillows. The ones in the bed was too thin and if we could have had 2 each it would have been perfect. Not that much to do in Munich so we spent quite some time in the hotel room

I booked a family room and it had 3 sets of bunk beds for my family of four. It was almost dormitory style. Very clean snd nice bathrooms-separate toilet room and two showers in the other room. Bare bones amenities, no hair dryer, TV, drinking glasses or chairs. The buffet breakfast was worth the extra money. Delicious and the croissants and marmalades wer delicious. A great place to stay.

As a former Munich resident, I knew this was a great part of town, not directly in the city centre. But what I and my two tonnage children didn’t expect was the high quality of everything, from the room fittings to the breakfast menu. We had a wonderful 5 night stay and can highly recommend this hotel which still felt brand new even four years after opening. We’ll definitely be back!

This hotel was really nice, clean, friendly staff and not too far of a walk each day from the main part of town. The front desk staff gave us some great dinner recommendations in the area too. Breakfast options from the buffet were really great too.

I was looking forward to staying here after a 12 hour flight from Los Angeles. The hotel is modern, clean, architectural and stylish. Next to a park and a fabulous car museum. However a large, rowdy, noisy group of teenage students were allowed by management to run wild throughout the halls, slamming doors, screaming, and pounding on floors. We had two horrible sleepless nights here and the management did a poor job of addressing our concerns. We did enjoy the good breakfast buffet but we were so tired and irritated. Augustin Hotel must prioritize the comforts and quiet of guests to earn a high rating. After all you stay in a hotel to sleep and if you pay $150 or so a night you shouldn’t have to beg management to stop misbehaving and rude people from destroying the calm and peace of nighttime rest.

Christmastime in Munich
Our family traveled to Germany for Christmas. We met our daughter and took the bus to Munich where we met our son and husband at your wonderful hotel. The meals were very delicious, with the delicious breakfasts being a great way to start the day of walking. In the evenings, after walking for hours around Munich (Marienplatz, Nymphenburg Palace, etc) every day, we retired to your bar area for wonderful drinks to relax and talk about the day. We even played cards. The front desk staff were very friendly as well as the cleaning staff and the service staff in the restaurant & bar. We especially loved the example of a VW bus in the lobby. The rooms were top-notch and very comfortable. When we are back in Munich, we will stay there again and hopefully visit the Augustiner brewery. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Munich.

AC, beautiful property, big windows, cute balcony, beautiful bathrooms, comfortable beds, and a really great breakfast in the morning with on site parking. The hotel is of a special kind. Our room was big and clean with 3 bunk beds (6 beds in total), and it was perfect for my family of 5 for a short stay. It does not have a TV, but we did not need one either. It was close to the central train station and metro station. The staff was helpful ,professional and kind.
