"Amazing stay at The Priory. Sarah was such a lovely, friendly host, full of stories about the building and couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was enjoyable. I stayed in room 5, which was a delight - the bathroom was gorgeous, with a roll top bath and waterfall shower. The bedroom decor was tasteful and it felt cosy. The breakfast was hearty and very tasty. I couldn’t have asked for more from my stay. I will definitely be returning if I’m in the area again. "

"Excellent 10 out of 10. Our 3 day Xmas period stay with our dog was from arrival absolutely superb. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful; the room was warm, comfortably and clean. "There are only 3 pods, which protects the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The view is exceptional and a place to truly relax. The pods offer a good standard of living space with a lovely hot shower and a really comfortable bed. The local sheep add an interesting intro to being in the countryside and lovely to watch. The pod is reached by a narrow single track road but this didn’t cause us any difficulties. The location is great for getting most places in the Dales. We will definitely be back. "

"Lovely accommodation right in the heart of Kendal. Everything well thought out, and clean and cosy. May not want to visit with young children as some of the pictures on the wall were more adult orientated with no option to remove them for duration of stay."
