"Disappointed with the food, it was ok but a bit undercooked, some items missing, and service was a bit slow. The food used to be amazing here, the ingredients still seemed high quality but the preparation and taste wasn't as good as it used to be. The main disappointment was that the rules of the spa have changed and we were unaware we had to book the spa and could only attend at certain times which wouldn't have suited anyway. So we did not get to go to the spa as planned. In previous years this place has been great, hope it gets back there!"

"I recently enjoyed a two-night stay at the Lynnhurst Hotel in Glasgow, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautifully presented, with a relaxing atmosphere and a truly welcoming feel throughout. The dining was excellent, offering high-quality food that exceeded expectations, and the staff were outstanding—consistently attentive, friendly, and eager to help with anything we needed. What made the stay even more impressive was the value for money; the pricing felt very reasonable given the level of service and overall experience provided. "Beautiful hotel set in a lovely area. Overall staff were very friendly however there were quite a few times across the stay that we had to wait a while to be seen to. There was a wedding on the day we arrived, which obviously we expected with it being a wedding hotel but they had the drinks reception at 2.30PM which is the time of check in, and the drinks reception was in the main reception which was a bit of a nightmare for getting luggage in, and was very awkward. We took our baby to the soft play which was a nice option to have but most of the toys for babies were broken or out of battery which was a shame and is an easy fix. Pool was fantastic, family changing facilities was the best I've seen and staff there were excellent. We had Dinner in the restaurant which was okay. Took a while to be seated and lack of staff in the restaurant meant to took a while when asking for something. My wife asked for steak frites and only got a steak which was quite strange. Breakfast was included which was nice, however there was quite a few items that were already finished and we were down quite early. Overall, it felt like other hotel guests might be seen as an afterthought when there's a wedding on. Which is a real shame as the hotel is excellent and we were really looking forward to it. "

"Plenty of choice from fresh fruit salad to cooked breakfast. Room was spotless plenty of towels and loads of essentials. Fridge in room equipped with fresh milk and ice cold water. Ideally placed next to morrisons and close to station. Great friendly host couldn't do enough to please. Will definately stay thete again."
