"Not often you find a hotel that let's you bring a dog for free. Check the silence or clean door hangers (cute!) Nice hotel and perfect location for a day of shopping and enjoying the city life. Restaurant seemed nice and affordable too, but we don't m didn't test it. Yes parking garage is 15€ for the night... but alternative parking close by is ample available cheaper or free. EV charger for 2 cars right at the entrance. If needing a stay in that area again we would return. "

"This location was perfect in the countryside and very peaceful. Loved the balcony and the room was comfortable with a nice occasional chair and desk. Bathroom and closet good too. The room was very clean and towels were replaced and the bed made daily but only bathroom garbage was removed, not the garbage in the room and it seemed that the promised cleaning after two nights did not take place so no cups cleaned or tea replaced. The breakfast was good with an offer of made to order eggs daily....

"Burg Boetzelaer was zeer verrassend. We hadden een mooie kamer met 2 verdiepingen. Slaapgedeelte en woongedeelte. De badkamer was ook perfect. Goede douche! Alles zag er netjes en verzorgd uit. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar wel genoeg keuze. Maar 16 euro is teveel gezien wat er is. 'S avonds heerlijk gegeten in Kalkar en gewandeld in het Uedemer Hochwald. "

"Hotel Stadt Emmerich is nicely located close to the actual center with easy access to the pedestrian high street and the promenade by the river. The room was newly renovated, clean, and with comfortable bed. Breakfast was good standard continental. There is good parking in the yard behind the hotel. Value-for-money is good."

"I arrived in the late evening when the reception was closed, but the staff had kindly left my key in a safe place. The rooms are named after animals, I was in the SHEEP room which had lifesize and authentic-looking toy sheep on the carpet as well as sheep motif on the curtains and a huge ram picture on the all next to the bed. The room was immaculately clean, the bed comfortable. I would return."
