"Wonderful stay in Apollonas. Stamatis, the owner was very helpful and kindly upgraded our room as the hotel was still quiet - the first week of May. Sadly we were unable to try the best moussaka in the EU as the restaurant hadn’t opened early in the season. The standard of cleanliness was exceptional and the room had clearly been renovated over the winter. The only things that were not 10/10 were - 1. WiFi signal was weak or occasionally dropped out in the room but full outside on the balcony. 2. In retrospect we should have said something at the time but the bed was so hard. You would definitely need a car as Apollonas is a bit out of the way - but that is also a very good thing. We would definitely stay again but perhaps a few weeks later when the restaurant is open - and the restaurant in the village which was still being prepared for the season. Additional note - the lady at La Sabbia in the village makes fabulous portokalopita!"

"Dolly was so kind and friendly. Breakfast was great every morning and she made us feel at home. Quiet and peaceful place. We rented a car to get everywhere, and she had suggestions for good beaches nearby. We also enjoyed the two cats Luna and Rosso on the property! "
