"this is not an hotel. you have to make your own bed, they do not provide any towel, and there is a note asking you to take out the bedsheets and clean before you leave. "This is a great B&B, really well appointed old french farmhouse. We stayed in the smaller room which had a great shower, was quiet and warm. "The Chateau Colbert has been extensively restored over the past 20 years or so to a very high standard. This has obviously been a labour of love for the present owners. The rooms are very comfortable and the views over the river and forests were outstanding. The food and service were exceptional and the dining room was a wonderful place to eat. They have the largest Japanese garden in Europe which we definitely return to see. The Chateau is highly recommended."
