"Overall the stay was decent. Nice restaurant and great breakfast. The staff was kind and quite helpful. The only drawback was that our room heat was not working and in its place was a space heater. It was rainy and chilly that day so I did plug it in but I am not comfortable sleeping with a space heater on so it was unplugged for the night. With the space heater already in the room when we arrived I can only assume this was an ongoing issue. Other than this the stay was very nice and the grounds are lovely."

"All staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, made us feel very relaxed during our stay. The breakfast here was absolutely fabulous with everything there that it stated was there. We also had an afternoon tea booked for after our small wedding and this was excellent and so was the lovely Maria who served our champagne and made sure we had everything we needed. Above and beyond expectations and we were not rushed at all. There is plenty of parking for guests and the grounds of the Hotel are stunning. Lots of photos of that! We would definitely stay again to give us more time to explore. Also, we would book a bigger room."

"Clean room, excellent breakfast and dinner in the restaurant at very reasonable price and big portions. Close to Dalscone Farm and various other places to keep kids entertained. I booked the deluxe family room although didn’t really know what I was getting due to the lack of pictures online on any website. I would definitely return."

"Walls thin so if your lucky you will hear the TV from room next door all night. Shower whilst very powerful, the issue is when it goes from cold to scalding without touching the tap. Food option limited. While not the hotels fault it's located on a very busy road. Plus points staff friendly and room decent size."

"Stay was ok for price paid however is dated and tired especially bathroom area, needs general maintenance, re grouting, paintwork etc. Breakfast was poor, basically cereal and toast, paid extra for cooked breakfast which was small and nothing special. It wasn't the worst hotel I have stayed in but I wouldn't return. Shame as the building and grounds are incredible. "

"Parking on street but plenty of it. Breakfast was decent and the room itself was large and comfortable. Main problem was a lack of hot water so I had to endure a rather cold shower."
