Our room was out the front, there was a lot of traffic noise from the highway all night. The front rooms could either have double glazing or used for other purposes

The staff member at the check in counter ignored us as his phone call was more important than acknowledging our presence or making us welcome in any way. The area around the entrance had not been swept clean. We could hear the conversation of the men in the next room quite clearly. We were in room two, and the room badly needed renovation.

Absolutely disgraceful. Do not stay here. The rooms are so very very outdated. Back to 1970-1980's. The staff are rude and when we asked them not to enter our room when we were not there, they did so anyway. (We have proof of this on the SECOND time it happend after already telling them not to go in our room. We had purposelt left the TV on while we went out for a couple hours.. and it was turned off when we returned. Proof our room was entered AGAIN after asking not to, so this cannot be disputed). Also, the noisiest place to stay. Big bins near the pool look like they had not been emptied for months. Bags of rubbish all over the ground as it was overflowing so much. DO not recommend and will never return to this motel. Not worth the money either. **Update** (1) Owner replied to above review on Google. It proved our statement to their rudeness. (2)With regards to us not wanting our room made up. That is what the DO NOT DISTURB sign is for which we put up every day. And we did come into the office with this matter yet you blatantly disregarded it and you were extremely rude. (3)With regards to your next point about the bins. You would know this is a busy period from previous years and should have arranged something for this. (4)And with regards to wanting 5 star accommodation. No you are incorrect, however something in this century would be nice. I hope no one ever stays here again unless changes are made to their attitude and premises are brought into the 21st Century

The staff were friendly enough and they had a wheelchair accessible room fit for service which is beside the main road, so a bit noisy. Buildings are dated so don’t expect first class!

We were very dissapointed, this was no more a disabled room than I am Queen of Sheba.. The bed was too high. needed help to get in and out, the bathroom, a flimsy plastic shower chair which was too low, the toilet was not a disabled toilet it was too low, the towels should have been on metal rails, not flimsy plastic rails, that you could not hang onto for support, the tiles on floor in bathroom were NOT safe as they were not non slip tiles, I slipped and my able body son slipped.. outside near front door was an old armchair with old TV's and remote controls piled up.. The airconditioner as soon as you turned it on it straight away turned off.. quite dissapointed
