"File this under: never judge a book by it's cover. This was a relatively last minute trip and a Maine motel was the most reasonably priced available option for this time of season. Motel didn't get me all excited.... All that changed at check-in. Super friendly gal at the front desk took care of the usual process. Handed me a real key for my room and off we went. Opened the door and was pleasantly surprised. The room was fresh and clean! This place has had a total overhaul from top to bottom. New everything! Bed was comfy and the housekeepers do silly cool things with the toilet tissue and towels. Think cruise ship... Location was perfectly far enough away from the hustle-n-bustle of the village while only a FREE bus ride away from everything. We were genuinely impressed with the overall experience. "

"The hotel was as advertised with a clean room and comfortable bed. The only things I would have changed were the bathroom had very little counter space for belongings and it would have been nice if the room had a table or desk space. "
