"This hotel is absolutely GORGEOUS! Every detail is solidly and thoughtfully constructed, from the chair rail lining the hallway to the sliding bathroom door. But form without function is of little value, and the staff brings the function in spades. Everyone we met went out of their way to answer our questions. Special shout out to Reginald at the concierge desk-he was kind, knowledgeable and generous with his time and helped us to book an amazing outing! He knows the area and the hotel inside...

"Wij hebben hier een fijne tijd gehad. Lisa stuurde vooraf handige informatie over de app. Het verblijf lag op steenworp afstand van addo elephant park af en in de buurt waren leuke eettentjes en een supermarkt. De kamers waren geweldig. We werden in de ochtend wakker van fluitende en een fantastisch uitzicht "

There was plenty of room for four of us to share comfortably. Easily accessible to local shops and dining. Ultimately would recommend for anyone stopping in PE!"

"We had a fantastic 3 days at Addo River-View Lodge. Our hostess, Leanne, was fabulous and very helpful and informative. The proximity of the location to Addo Elephant Park was ideal and we booked a guided full day tour there. We also enjoyed a sunset boat trip on the Sundays River and climbed the sand dunes. The local restaurant, Taste of Africa, was excellent and less than a 3 minute walk. Highly recommended."

"On short notice they had every in order to welcome me, great second floor room with a nice small balcony, wonderful aesthetic and professional and reliable service from our kind hosts, great fresh breakfast every single morning and met every adjustment or accommodation necessary. Felt safe and not crowded, great of a getaway for a couple, with the beach at a walkable short distance. "

"Great food. Easy to walk to the mall and the beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and evenings on the patio were so quiet "

"From the time that we walked in until we left, our Hosts and their staff treated us extremely well. Our room was amazing and the cooked to order breakfast was well done. Fresh fruit, yogurt, granola many different varieties of tea and at least 6 different kinds of jam were offered. I can see why Amery House has so many great reviews. We definitely recommend staying here."
