"There was some confusion at check-in between superior vs premium room. Photos are not accurate as there are many rooms . We skipped housekeeping and were issued a complimentary drink coupon - but the bartender had a tough time redeeming it. Helpful staff, firm bed, good size room. Needs touch up painting . Easy walk to train station- Longer to walk to City center. "

"Breakfast gets an honorable mention. The staff was okay but not very helpful in resolving issues with the room. I had no toilet for 8 of 17 day stay. I had to use the bathroom in the room next door. "

"Definitely not premium. More like cost-cutting central. In the restaurant they have ready meals they re-heat and serve to guests. For cleaning you need to request it, and also the small print is to request by 6am. And even checking in, they pass you the task of completing the registration form on a screen. If it saves some a little cost, they’ll do it here. And who cares about guests - they ask irrelevant personal details on the screen form, too like DOB, which you must complete. "I was surprised at check in that we were told we had reserved 4 rooms. We did have 2 connecting rooms but my original booking that I had cancelled well in advance on Expedia never showed up on Hilton Heidelbergs end. I had to prove I had cancelled and had to forward emails to show that I did indeed cancel the first connecting rooms. Once that was fixed, the rest of the stay was ok. "
