"The staff was friendly. However, when we first entered the room, it smelled musty and a little like mold. The front desk clerk was notified. He did not offer any assistance or remedy. He simply states that he would inform engineering the next day. After expressing my disappointment, I was offered a can of room spray to cover the musty room odor. Thankfully we were checking out the next morning. Or stay consisted of 11 hours. Disappointed."

"The pool, was great! We’ve found a lot of hotel pools are freezing, this one was perfect. We weren’t sure if breakfast was included, but we didn’t partake. The mall, is right there. Great Chinese place like 7mins away. Staff was friendly and kind. Pool area, was loud but the littles loved it."

"Double Tree by Hilton in Appleton, Wisconsin is very conveniently located to the highway. A variety of restaurants are near to the hotel. Check-in and check-out procedures were easy. However, some updates need to be done in the rooms. Carpet seemed worn and dirty and shower had areas that looked like mold. Otherwise there were no other concerns. The bed was comfortable. Would recommend this property. cC"
