"Best value for a 2 star hostel with or without private bathroom. Location is okay with Bonus grocery store around corner. Accommodation has shared kitchen and dining room that you can use. There are stairs to get to rooms on 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors with no elevator. I recommend for short stays."

"This is a separate building, but under the same group as the Guesthouse Aurora. Guesthouse Andrea wasn’t as well maintained, but wasn’t terrible for a night. The bathroom lightbulbs needed replacement, one dim one and the other not working. Under the bed was very dusty, which I found out when I dropped something that rolled under. There is a bathroom on each floor, so in an emergency you should be able to find one open if you can’t wait. "False advertising this is a hostile not a “guest house” only after booking seen restricted check in times. poor communication. I was brought to a small room with 3 bunk beds 6 men total. The pictures on ad were nothing like the current condition. I paid 180 for 12 hours to share a crumby room with 5 other men and a shared bathroom down the hall."

The silly reason I left 4 stars for “amenities” was my shock that ice is impossible to find in Iceland.
