"Right off 90, very convenient after a long drive. Clean and room had everything, comfy beds, microwave, coffee machine, refrig and shampoo etc. Waffles for breakfast were delicious, plus many other offerings."

"The room was stale smelling, the bathroom sink and toilet was clogged. When I brought it to the staff’s attention he told me to go to the community bathroom, get a plunger and plunge the toilet myself. The front desk told me to keep the plunger in my room for the duration of my stay because he knew it would happen again and he would be up later to drop me off a zip it tool so I could snake and unclog the sink myself! The shower diverter didn’t operate correctly, and the ironing board was completely broken, I had to lay it across the bed in order to use it. They never acknowledged our complaints or did anything to try to help or accommodate us. Never in life will I ever stay at this hotel again. Worst experience I ever had!!"

"Clean room, pleasant staff, felt secure My only complaint is if there could be any way smoking patrons could smoke not by the main entrance!!! For me I have asthma & can B a challenge to enter building when there are a number of people smoking right by front door "

"I wanted to like this place! It's right on the river, but I got a parking lot view that came with loud noises all night. The room had a sticky, dirty stain on the carpet between the beds. The shower had a hair on the floor. There was a rubber band on the floor from someones braces. I went to the restaurant for an adult beverage and the view was lovely. Sadly, the service was pretty lousy even though I was the only customer for at least 10 minutes. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was night. Overall, I felt like it was overpriced for what it was."

"Fire alarm at 130 am was annoying and we found bed bugs in our room. We notified front desk, believe that should have comp the room but didn’t ask since we needed to get out of there."

"Hotel was clean and in central location. Limited amenities like tissues, shampoo/conditioner, no ice makers, and needing to ask front desk for blow dryer. It’s more of an extended stay hotel, however, certain amenities are still expected as a hotel. Walls were thin and you could smell food being cooked from other rooms which wasn’t ideal, however, price was right and it as a great place for a night."

"Check in was efficient though not the most friendly. Our room was nicely updated and clean except for a few hairs in the shower. The carpet looked new and clean. Bed was firm. The breakfast had a lot of variety to choose from - pancakes made fresh, cereals, yogurt, 2 different egg selections, bagels, pre-packaged pastries, fruit, etc. We stopped for an overnight on a road trip and it was perfect for that type of stay. Convenient to the interstate, shopping, gas, restaurants. Would stay here again."

"I often stay in Beloit and this was my first stay at the Goodwin. It was perfect location for different dining options preceded by a stroll along the river. We had a spacious room and quiet. Kudos to the Geronimo group for their exquisite taste"
