"There were cockroaches in the outside snack bar restaurant that was ugly to see. Getting to your room was a hassle as there were no lifts and loads of stairs."

"Occidental Jandía is a lovely hotel. We had the Royal Level package, and the selection of food and drinks was great. Lunch and dinner offered a good variety of healthy options. There were plenty of drink choices as well, and the cocktails were especially good. I was also impressed by the staff. There was a waiter named Dani in the Royal Level restaurant who was very kind and took the time to explain a few things about the culture and economy of Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands. Coincidentally, his brother—who works at reception—helped us book a taxi when we were leaving. Cynthia at the front desk also gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived."

The food is extraordinary - in quality, choice, creativity - the whole place is spotless, huge props to the cleaners - and my room was utterly divine, on the highest floor level with full sea & beach views. "Raggiunta la struttura, bellissima specialmente nella hall ed agevole l’accesso alla spiaggia meravigliosa e pulita. Mare strepitoso. Non presente come in Italia, la possibilità di abbinare il soggiorno in struttura ed il noleggio di ombrellone/sdraio in spiaggia. L’hotel su richiesta rilascia gratuitamente l’ombrellone da piazzare ovunque si voglia sull’enorme spiaggia. Veniamo alle pecche: scarsa l’organizzazione delle pulizie che venivano fatte a seconda di chi c’era di turno ma comunque in linea di massima non siamo MAI rimasti senza assistenza se loro andavano fuori orario e noi richiedevamo che venisse fatta. Forse buona la cucina internazionale… ma posso garantire solo quello che ho gustato, ovvero verdure, frutta e qualche pezzo di salmone crudo con limone, olio e pepe. Colazioni, pranzi e cene sempre generose. Di tanto in tanto le stoviglie non proprio pulite, basta controllarle e chiederne la sostituzione: lo staff è meraviglioso. "
