"Very good value for Stowe area. The Inn was very clean and well-kept. All the amenities make it a great find. Don't bother going downtown. Take a swim, play pickleball, head out on the walking paths or take a sauna or hot tub. Plenty of bacon with the scrambled eggs, fruit and fresh coffee.

"The hotel itself is beautiful and very large, and overall the room and property were clean and well maintained. The staff was also friendly during my stay, which I appreciated.
However, there were a couple of things that made me uncomfortable. One was that the coffee and tea were removed promptly at 6 PM even though there were barely any guests at the hotel at the time. I felt the staff could have made a small exception.
My main concern, though, was security. The property is extremely large, and some areas felt completely isolated and deserted. I noticed that several exterior doors appeared to remain open from the outside, which honestly made me feel unsafe. I raised my concern to the front desk and was told that the doors remain open so guests can come back in. In a hotel of this size, I would expect those doors to remain locked from the outside and require a guest key card for entry. I also looked around for security cameras and did not notice many visible security measures. While the hotel is beautiful, that particular situation affected my sense of safety during the stay."
"The hotel was so cozy and welcoming. Clean, nice staff, food/bar, hot tub, outdoor pool, scenic views, etc. It is close to all the stores and restaurants, Stowe rec trail is right behind it through the backyard. Will definitely stay here again in one of the cabins when we come back."
"Just got back from a weekend stay here and want to give a fair and balanced review so I will start with the positives: plenty of parking, good location, beds and pillows very comfortable, spacious enough and clean. Now for the downside: VERY noisy, you can hear all your neighbors like one loudmouth guy who sat out on the patio directly below us and we could hear every word he was saying while we were trying to sleep. Also heard lots of doors slamming in the morning and dogs barking since it is pet-friendly. But the worst part of our stay involved the alarm clock in our room. Previous guests had set it for early morning and it kept going off when we wanted to sleep in. And it was one of those wooden "nest" types with buttons that could not be easily seen and I could not figure out how to shut it off so I finally brought it to the front desk just to get it out of the room so the next night's sleep wouldn't be ruined. Maybe they don't have lots of control over the noise related to thin walls and windows and general layout, but I found this to be totally unacceptable, there is no reason for this to happen and it should have been soooo avoidable if the housekeeping staff would just add checking and resetting alarm clocks to their checklist if they're going to provide them in rooms! A couple more things - the hallways and room smelled kind of funny and the toilet was hard to flush. Overall not great but not terrible. Still, not sure I would stay there again."
"Staff were very helpful, very dog friendly (they even offered a dog bed), the room was pleasant, beds comfortable, and thermostat easy to use, which is not always the case in hotels. One staff member went above and beyond to help me connect to wifi with my Hilton Honors number. Room itself was clean, though needing minor repair (the sink stopper was broken); the elevator carpet was very dirty. Parking was a bit tight at times, probably because it was a graduation weekend. Breakfast selection was fine for a cold breakfast, though I would have appreciated more low-sugar sugar options (e.g. unsweetened yogurt, muesli) and a wider tea selection. Overall, though, happy with this stay."
