"la struttura è immersa nel verde per chi ama la pace e la natura.Il proprietario molto cordiale e simpatico ma la camera lasciava a desiderare. Purtroppo mi sono seduto sul letto e si è staccata la prima doga e poi durante la notte se ne sono staccate altre fino a rimanere in una conca che non mi ha permesso di dormire.Muri con segni di umidità e molto rovinati. L'ho fatto presente al proprietario ma più che dimostrare di essere dispiaciuto ha detto che le avrebbbe incollate.Colazione abbondante...

"Outstanding. The location was simple beautiful. The owners and staff were absolutely charming. The pool was in the most amazing location. I would return in a heartbeat. Finally the owner helped sort out a problem with a ferry reservation, something that was really stressing me. He was absolutely brilliant and the problem just evaporated away.... Thank you."

"Hard to separate the charm of Montalcino from that of our hotel and staff but this hotel and staff would have stood out in any location. Our suite was elegant and spacious situated in the heart of Montalcino's many shops and cafés. The staff made us feel like family they were hosting, always gracious, never mercenary. It felt a bit like staying at a friends beautiful home with the butler and staff remaining to attend to our needs. The food was delicious, artfully and graciously presented. Our stay included a free small group private tasting and tour of the Tassi winery, founded by the hotel owner's grandfather (who was himself a sharecropper for the Brunello-founding Biondi Santi family). If we could only ever revisit one place in our Italian tour, I think we'd choose this one. Five stars all around."

"Overall it was a great stay but we were disappointed when our room got downgraded because of a wedding. The staff offered us a late check out and a small amount of spa credits but we really wanted to room we paid for originally. Overall they did the best they could to accommodate but best you confirm with them ahead if you book a room on the water"

"A lovely hotel in a beautiful location. I was revisiting my family origins in Santo Stefano after many years away. The property is clean, well maintained and well situated from the town, as well as Porto Ercole and Orbetello. The front desk staff were always very helpful including Dario the bellman and the fantastic Barman - Riccardo Loffredo! His signiture cocktrails were fantastic. I did not have dinner in the restaurant but lunch by the pool and breakfast were both well executed and delicious. We also purchased some local olive oils to take back to the US. A wonderful property that I would higly recommend."
