"The location and the experience of the over water bungalow was amazing. That is where it stopped. For the price you pay everything else was poor and not worth the money. Food was average, staff were poorly trained and the attention to detail was lacking. We stayed at the Inter Continental for a night on the way home and the difference in food and service is stark. This place is living off its great location and doesn’t seem to care if everything else is average."
"The property, staff and location were all 5 stars! And there are multiple good restaurants nearby. We had a wonderful experience and will be back again!"
"We loved the cleanliness of the room, the decorations, and also the breakfast in the morning. The hotel hosted a benefit for breast cancer and it made the visit feel magically local in a way that I would not have experienced otherwise. We loved that."
"Arnaud was a very enthusiastic host and our needs were efficiently met. We ate breakfast and dinner and the hosts accommodated our preferences. One small drawback is that it is a bit loud with traffic nearby. Otherwise would recommend for sure!"
"My sister and I loved our perfect very spacious lovely light grass roofed “Buree” with deck with garden and partial lagoon view!
The bathroom was large with two sinks and a good shower and all was spotlessly clean with flowers welcoming us on all surfaces - it was delightful!
The excellent restaurant had a fabulous view right on the water of the lagoon, served delicious food with a great variety and very good and charming service!
The family who own The Hibiscus. and all their staff, were so wonderfully kind and helpful when my sister became ill and they called an ambulance and couldn’t have done enough for us with their generous and thoughtful consideration. Thankyou, Celine, Julian, and Philippe and Sophie and everyone for your very special care!
The property is beautifully situated in lush gardens with a lovely beach and pool.
We highly recommend this delightful relaxed beautiful place to stay and hope to return one day!

"Our stay at Linareva was really lovely. Momo welcomed us at check in and explained all the amenities and the rules. Breakfast is offered upon request. Our little bungalow had everything you need for cooking. Best of the best is snorkeling at the end of the dock. The location is perfect if you have a car. We highly recommend Linareva Moorea beach resort."
"Sunset Beach is the ideal hotel for snorkelers and divers. The lagoon is huge, and you can take shark and whale excursions right from the bay. Alternatively, you can just snorkel from the beach or go further out with a kayak. The apartments are spacious and fully equipped with kitchens. There’s a restaurant on site called Les Tipaniers. It’s on the beach but doesn’t seem to be affiliated with the hotel. It was perfect for breakfast, dinner or drinks and serves lunch too."
