"Absolutely amazing place to stay. This was our second visit and it was just as good as we remembered. Love it because it is not a big name chain that you find in the US or Europe ... it has a local feel with local welcoming staff who are fantastic. Can't wait to go back."

"Our stay at Hotel Kaveka was absolutely amazing. The beachfront bungalow-style villa was just steps from the water and only a short walk to the hotel restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home throughout our stay. The hotel was worth every dollar spent, and my wife and I enjoyed some of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve seen in a long time right from the beach. If you’re looking for a relaxing, authentic Polynesian experience, this is the place to stay....

"All staff was extremely friendly and accommodating!! The room was very clean and very nice and comfortable as were the grounds!!! We would like to suggest that the quiet hours be enforced in reverse. Meaning we were informed of a noise complaint at 6:30 PM that was reported by a occupant next to us and quiet hours didn’t start till 9:00 PM. "The deluxe bungalow was so nice inside with all the modern conveniences but had a thatched roof giving you an authentic Polynesian experience. The bed and linens were very comfortable and the bathroom had 2 beautiful sinks and walk in shower. The kitchenette was an added plus! The pool was wonderful and ocean view and beach were beautiful. The on site Sunset Grill was convenient but we only had 1 dinner there since there are plenty of local restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again...

"Lovely, helpful staff see you to this ocean side bungalow with kitchen facilities, comfortable bed and great deck where you can sit and enjoy the sight of the reef. Snorkelling right from your private beach yields coral and tropical fish from the shore. A couple of downsides: there are no staples like sugar, coffee, salt, etc in the kitchen; there is no comfortable chair so you either sit on the bed or you are upright at the table; the reception is only there for assistance for an hour or so...

"The room was clean, but had many many bugs. Which I did not mind much due to the location on the hotel being more in the forest. The area where the kitchenette is and for outdoor relaxing is covered in dog poop. I found this to be unsanitary."

"I really wanted to give this place high reviews, but unfortunately the great pluses this property has (amazing location right on the water and views) are negated by an overzelous and controling owner. Prepared to be scolded, warned and admonished for many things a paying costumer would not in other stablishments. I.e. do not take the kayak out in the beautiful bay because it could be damaged by the coral..are u serious? Why have a kayak on the property if it cant be used. Or, dont leave the AC...
