"Beautiful room over the water. Could use a refresh. Staff was less than helpful; we felt like an inconvenience. We were offered a free continental breakfast our first day but not after that. Unsure why."

"Absolutely amazing place to stay. This was our second visit and it was just as good as we remembered. Love it because it is not a big name chain that you find in the US or Europe ... it has a local feel with local welcoming staff who are fantastic. Can't wait to go back."

"We love our stay here. It’s honestly the perfect place to stay in Moorea. The staff were so helpful and lovely. Also, it’s amazing that you can wake up and just jump to do some snorkeling. It was the best snorkeling in the entire island. We saw 3 big turtles, an octopus and so many pretty fish plus the water is so calm. Their pina colada’s were also amazing. We highly recommend this place."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Fenua Maita'i'oa! The room was beautiful, very clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated having Netflix and Amazon Prime available for relaxing in the evenings. The location was also very convenient...close to a grocery store and easy to get around. The kitchenette setup was perfect with an egg maker, kettle for hot water, fridge, microwave, dishes, and silverware. The cat on the property was absolutely wonderful and...

"Restaurant OK, chambres devraient être rénovés et les meubles changés ou repeinturé, très vieille hôtel qui devrait être rénové, plein de pigeons et d'oiseaux avec leurs excréments sur les rampes de balcon, l'hôtel nous a refusé de téléphoner à notre Banque pour débloquer notre carte de crédit bloqué, à la réception il ne pouvait jamais rien faire pour solutionner des problèmes, aucun bagagiste à l'arrivé et au départ. Ne jamais aller à cette hôtel."

"While basic, the room was very spacious and clean for our family of four and had air conditioning. We really enjoyed the breakfast (which was delicious and plentiful) which was served on the outdoor patio. The owner/manager was friendly and helpful. Would stay there again."
