Wir waren in der ravineside lodge. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit beeindruckenden Safari Touren. Das Essen war sehr gut und für uns sehr bekömmlich. Wir würden jederzeit die lodge wieder buchen.

The morning and evening safaris were amazing. The guides were knowledgeable and each drive offered a new and unique experience. It was difficult finding activities that allowed me to exercise. Swimming is the only choice at this time.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen ...

... trotzdem für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Ordnung. Das Personal war sehr nett. Das Zimmer war großzügig und abends war im Bett die Heizdecke eingeschaltet. Holz für den Kamin wurde aber erst am 2. Abend bereit gestellt. Das Essen im Restaurant war ausreichend, aber nichts Besonderes. Die Pirschfahrten waren gut organisiert und informativ. Abends gab es unterwegs einen Sundowner, morgens aber weder Kaffee noch Tee. Insgesamt hatten wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt von 2 Tagen. Eine Luxuslodge ist bei dem Preis nicht zu erwarten.

Experiência agradável para a familia

Distancia de Joanesburgo: 3 horas de viagem de carro. O servico foi sempre muito bom; a atenção do staff excelente! O Ranger, Obri, muito bom e atencioso conosco, em todos os passeios que fizemos, com o intuito de podermos ver o maior número de animais. Acomodações limpas e confortáveis. Ficamos nas tendas do wildlife. Sem luxo, como era a proposta, mas com toda a comodidade. Andamos bastante para ver os animais, mas vimos leões, elefante, rinoceronte, girafa, zebra, gnus, hipopótamo e varios tipos de antilopes. Foi uma boa experiência.

Mooi maar ‘s winters ook een koud verblijf

We waren hier half juli, dus winter in Zuid-Afrika. We zaten in Ravineside lodge. Verblijf was mooi maar wel vrij koud. Lodges zijn niet goed ingesteld op deze kou, al hadden de bedden wel een elektrisch deken wat het slapen aangenaam maakte. Het park Entabeni wordt door een berg in tweeën gesplitst. Op deze locatie (Ravineside) vind je NIET de big 5, je kunt beter aan de andere kant van de berg zitten. Met een game drive duurt het nl. een half uur voordat je in het gedeelte met de big 5 bent.

Accomodation dated, Safari Experience exceptional

Accommodation itself is a bit dated at Ravineside Lodge, but clean with amazing views. All staff members were exceptional. Food was good - simple home cooked meals served as a buffet. The safari experience was exceptional. Having been to Kruger, Pillansberg and many others,this game reserve is a level up! Scenic beauty of mountains (leopards, duikers, birds of pray), lakes (hipos, crocodiles) and grasslands (lions, cheetas, elephants and copious amounts of zebras and all species of antelope) coupled with exceptional game rangers knowledge makes this place stand out. I cannot recommend this Entabeni high enough despite the slightly dated accommodation.

Wir hatten einen einzigartigen (zu kurzen) Aufenthalt in der Lodge. Das Team war großartig und hat uns einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt ermöglicht. Die Zimmer waren luxuriös und sehr sauber. Auf den zwei Safaris hat uns unser Ranger zahlreiche Tiere gezeigt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

+Beautiful nature +Good food +Nice staff +Wildebeests outside the bungalow during the night :) +Nice bungalow -Some leakage in the bungalow ceiling making some water coming in The safari was ok but not the best I have been to. But it's hard to rate safari as it's so much about luck.

가장 제대로 된 사파리를 즐길 수 있는 곳입니다. 사파리하기 전에는 시원한 리치 쥬스를, 신나게 사파리하고 돌아오면 따뜻한 핫초코를 주는데 너무 행복했어요. 약간 추운 날씨였지만, 롯지에 전기장판이 비치되어 있어서 푹 잘 수 있었어요.

What an adventure!

To come here you have to drive over a very awful road. But when you finally reach the Ravineside lodge the people who work here make you feel at home instantly! We had a very good time! But please: place more signs to reach this lodge!!!

The place is beautiful! The safaries, food and service were beyond incredible! Second time traveling in this part of the country and this place was half the price of my previous experience without feeling that I was cut short at any point.

What a terrible stay. Advertised as weekend away of family activities which was not the case. Had to leave a day early as there was nothing for the kids to do!!!!

We enjoyed our stay but would prefer a more cozy restaurant setup where you can order your own food and eat in private. Game drives and guide were outstanding.
