"Major reconstruction is ongoing since last fall. Didn't know, don't care. Did not affect the stay, minimal construction noise, but eh... its next to the airport. The site suffered from the construction, but the room did not. As always, the shuttle was a big positive."

"Our stay at NH Amsterdam was excellent. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in quite a while. Aniek (sp) at the front desk was very helpful. We were able to check in early after a long over night flight. She also helped us on how to navigate the train station at Schiphol Airport. Her service was superior. I would recommend this hotel."

"We stayed at the wonderful Eye Hotel for seven nights in July. We were so happy we chose this hotel as our home base as we toured Utrecht and did day trips to Amsterdam, Delft, and more. The Eye Hotel is in a great area which we found to be very central and within walking distance of amenities. Slightly tucked away on a quieter street, it was nice to be away from the noisy areas but still feel like we were in a hip spot. The hotel and room itself were wonderful! Very clean and more than enough room for two - we stayed on the second floor. Air conditioning was very much appreciated. Although we didn’t have the breakfast which looked great, the free lattes and cappuccinos in the morning were a great way to start the day. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back again in the near future."

"Visually it looked very clean and bed was nice and firm with two pillows. Ceiling vent in the bathroom stayed on all night which was annoying at the start but after a while it put me to sleep. No window so very dark when sleeping. Under bed space for luggage. Washing clothes facility outside reception in carpark washing machine and dryer. Quiet time is 10pm but some people didn’t understand the concept."
