Boa localização mas quarto ruim

A localização do hotel é bem no centro, e por mais que não tenha estacionamento sempre foi fácil de achar vaga na rua bem perto. Mas encontrei muitos problemas: apenas 2 funcionárias (atenciosas) que se viram em 20 pra fazer tudo (desde checkin, checkout, limpeza dos quartos), a velocidade do Wi-Fi é muito ruim (em alguns quartos nem leva), e o cheiro do banheiro do quarto que fiquei com meu marido era insuportável, cheiro de esgoto mesmo.

O hotel fica em um lugar bem central e silencioso, O preço é muito bom e o ambioente charmoso. Wi-fi funciona, água quente, ar condicionado.

Bom custo benefício

Ficamos neste hotel durante o carnaval e não tivemos nenhum problema. O quarto era bem limpo. Os atendentes bem atenciosos e nos nos explicaram com um mapa tudo que poderia ser feito pela cidade. Não possui café da manhã ou refeições, mas disponibiliza uma cozinha comunitária para os hóspedes. Não possui estacionamento. Não possui elevador. Bem localizado na cidade velha, em uma região tranquila, o que possibilita ir caminhando até as principais atrações da cidade. Achamos que o preço estava em conta. Dica: Há um supermercado grande na mesma rua do hotel no quarteirão vizinho.

Good location but not clean

We stayed in this hotel for a few nights and the rooms were not very clean, the sheets had stains on them and main duffet cover smelt really damp. The hotel is in a good location near the old part of town and there are some restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly but don´t speak any Engligh.

Melhor chamar de hostel

O hotel deveria ser chamado "hostel", assim evitaria qualquer decepção. Serviços mínimos (para não dizer inexistentes). Bairro decadente sem opções para comer e fazer compras. Preço baixo é bom, mas no final você fica arrependido de não ter investido melhor na hospedagem.

Não gostei do hotel pois é muito cara a diária e não tem café da manhã. Além disso ninguém no hotel ajuda com as malas, roupas de camas não muito limpas.

Ótima opção em Montevideo

O hotel Ibéria tem uma boa localização no centro de Montevideo, a uma pequena caminhada do centro histórico/viejo. Um supermercado próximo (uns 200/300m) facilita muito o abastecimento de artigos para sua estadia. O café da manhã não está incluso na diária, podendo ser previamente agendado pelo valor de 5 dólares. E está ok, é bom. Mas o hotel oferece a pequena copa aonde é servido o café para que os hóspedes providenciem seu próprio desayuno, se assim desejarem. Na nossa estadia fizemos isso. Os quartos são de bom tamanho, camas confortáveis, bom banheiro e tudo muito limpo. Uma ótima estadia em Montevidéu. Uma relação custo/benefício excelente.

O Hotel é bem simples. Ficamos apenas uma noite e não pudemos verificar questão de limpeza. Na chegada, as funcionárias foram muito solicitas e nos receberam muito bem. Vale dizer, também, que, justamente pela simplicidade, não possui elevador (tivemos que subir um andar de escadas com as malas, o que não prejudicou a estada). O quarto é agradável e tem um tamanho bom. A internet funcionou perfeitamente. Quanto à localização, é ótima. Fica no centro, a 4 quadras da 18 de julio (avenida principal) e a 4 quadras (mais ou menos) da rambla. Há supermercado e restaurantes bem próximos, assim como diversas casas de cambio. O que mais nos incomodou, todavia, foram as toalhas, que estavam manchadas e pareciam uma lixa. Além disso, não havia toalha de rosto, nem de piso. Em resumo, no Ibéria parece que estamos em casa, com seus prós e contras.

Hotel Iberia

O hotel é simples mas gostei muito. Apesar de não ter café da manhã, com o frigobar no quarto, fui ao supermercado a apenas 1 quarteirão dali e comprei tudo o que precisava. O staff, especialmente Michaela e Lourdes, é muito simpático e prestativo. Foi, inclusive, sugerido um serviço de transfer que utilizei na chegada e saída da cidade, com o Sr Nicholas, muito amável e simpático. O hotel fica perto da Plaza Independência, e é facil dali caminhar a vários locais, e também é próximo de vários pontos de ônibus. Não tem garagem mas parece que dá desconto num estacionamento ali perto. Repetiria a estadia numa próxima visita a cidade.

Localização boa porém, quarto cheio de ácaros.

O Hopel deixa a desejar na limpeza da roupa de cama (muitos ácaros). Tive de dormir de janela aberta, mesmo estando frio. A recepção nos deixou esperando na rua (estava frio) porque a atendente estava no telefone e não podia abrir a porta. Bastante barulhento - escuta-se as pessoas nas escadas e nos quartos vizinhos. Tirando estes detalhes, se você não for muito exigente e consegue dormir com barulho, recomendo! A cozinha do hotel é bem equipada e você pode utilizar ela para refeições. Tem padarias e restaurantes por perto. O estacionamento é a parte, mas tem um bem pertinho.

Chegamos no hotel, e ficamos do lado de fora, aguardando 10 minutos para poder entrar no hotel, estava frio e estávamos com muitas bagagens. O hotel não tem elevador. O quarto estava empoeirado, e o banheiro mal tinha espaço para tomar um banho. NÃO RECOMENDO

Excelente relação custo benefício. Com um atendimento extremamente atencioso, quarto confortável e ótima localização. Apenas não recebeu nota máxima devido ao chuveiro que deixa a desejar e ao ar condicionado barulhento.

Great Stay Close to Everything

Even with a flooded bathroom the first night (I was quickly moved to a nearby room), this is still a great place to stay very close to everything in Montevideo. The hotel staff is so very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean (with a fridge to store snacks, breakfast stuff in), wifi works well throughout the hotel, AC/heat in the room.

Ice Cold Room. I Will Not Return Here.

Inexpensive hotel within walking distance of the old city, and only a few blocks from the Rambla. Pleasant interior, and the rooms were clean. I was assured my room had an in-room safe. It did not. Some staffers speak some English. No heat in my room; the A/C just blew cold air. Since this is winter, I froze my butt off even though I slept fully clothed with a hooded sweater! This was a HUGE negative for me, and I would never go back to this hotel. However, if you are booking in January rather than June, you won't want a hot room; you'll want a cool one, and this should work out fine. If you do book in winter, and speak Spanish, I recommend you call the hotel directly and get a firm money-back guarantee that your room will have heat.

Good choice in Montevideo!

We spent 4nights in this nice guesthouse. Perfect location, nice welcome atmosphere and good internet service. Worth the money we paid. No elevator, old linen and bath towels and not so confortable bed for two people are the only negative points.
