"I like this hotel; but it’s more like a motel. Very small rooms but excellent location in the heart of downtown Monterey. If you don’t mind a bit of a dated property with very basic amenities; this may be a good option. Definitely not luxury, but we’ll do the job for a short stay if you prioritize location above anything else. On the plus side. Everything has been upgraded and the property itself looks very nice."
