"My latest visit was the second time I have stayed at Elizabeth Downtown Apartments. I find the place excellent value for money. It's clean, close to transport links and shops and the rooms are well furnished. The little balconies are a lovely place to spend an evening, surrounded by trees and a little pigeon family, flying around collecting twigs for a nest.
The apartment complex is right smack bang between Astoria Metro and Deak Ferenc Ter, where the airport bus stops. A short walk to either of these transport stops and it's a quick ride to the Danube. The train stations are a little further, but easily reached on the tram or metro.
Dob Street is a lovely little hub of cafes, restaurants and bars and will keep the nightlife lovers happy. It's peaceful enough for an old man like me or a family too.
There's a little kitchen area in each apartment and a washing machine. The shower room was clean and shower lovely and powerful. The bed was comfy and there is ample wardrobe and drawer space.
The mere fact that I've stayed twice is surely high praise. I'll look to stay again if I go back to beautiful Budapest."
