"Served a purpose. Although for £130/night disappointed. Toilet was leaking, shower was tired and no slip mat or hand rail. Beds were hard with thin covers. Air conditioning didn’t work properly and just blew cold air all night. Needs facelift. No water in rooms. Decent bar area and gym. Parking was £8 for overnight stay…"

"We arrived after late flight. I had informed hotel at time of booking but was asked to contact again on arrival day so room would not be sold on. There were roadworks on the junction for hotel meaning you had to drive to next junction and return. It would be nice to have been advised of this. The roadworks also meant the carpark was full and although on asking we were told we could park anywhere in services it is a one way road and leaving would mean another detour up the motorway. We parked in HGV bay as advised by receptionist - this information could easily be shared in advance. Since our last stay there has been introduction of £5 parking charge. This is a budget hotel and it is not too expensive. When i book double room I would expect sufficient towels. We had one bath towel, no hand towels. Arriving at 01.00 you can't be bothered to go back to reception to ask for basics. We have booked another budget hotel for our next late flight so we can judge if our expectations are too high or if Ramada is no longer for us."

"All felt very dated. Walls and floors all paper thin, could hear everything from folks waking at 6am, with the addition of construction work right outside the window at 7:30am. Rooms, whilst clean, were basic and tired, and far too warm with no ability to adjust temperature. Pay and display parking (with no guest discount) is a bit odd too. Not sure what grants this a 4*, but it certainly isn’t. Get what you pay for. "
