"Stunning villa set in a beautiful & peaceful location. There is everything you could possibly want…and more…for a completely relaxing holiday. Spotlessly clean and well stocked. The rural nature means you will need a car but there are plenty of options for beach visits and for eating amazing Greek food nearby. John & Christina are absolutely exemplary hosts. Attentive, responsive, wonderfully helpful & friendly. They were always on hand with advice for the best places to eat and information on the island, but they are also very respectful of your privacy. As an example of how delightful they are - we were tired on the first day (having had a very early morning flight). John arranged for his niece (who was equally lovely) to bring us dinner from the restaurant she works at, up to the villa. What a lovely welcome. This set the tone for an absolutely perfect week in Zakynthos. We really didn’t want to leave and we hope to visit again. Our adult children want to come along too next time (they had serious FOMO!) and we hope to arrange this at some point in the future. "

"As a last minute necessity after our flight was cancelled we were delighted to find the Meandros hotel and spa. The staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. The spa was a huge win after spending 7 hrs in the airport going nowhere. Food was tasty and served with a huge smile. In all a good end to a very long disappointing day. "

"Despite the horrible reviews that others left, my experience was happily the opposite - a wonderful stay at a quaint and quiet hotel. I loved my seaside view room, I slept soundly on the bed, and enjoyed a nice breakfast with plenty of options in the morning. For someone like me who is a little afraid of the water, the beaches near by were not clean enough for me to enter and I had to go elsewhere. But the hotel itself is great! Staff is even better! "
