The property was located in a very quiet area. It was small and very peaceful. The staff was excellant in assisting with locating transportation to get to other areas like beach, shopping and dining. Overall had a good experience.

This place was so so beautiful! All staff but 1 was wonderful! Very nice and clean! Walkable to the beach, shopping, dining and my mums house! Thought it started free breakfast we did not get! Otherwise I would highly highly recommend and I would for sure stay again the 2 bedroom, 2 bath with private pool was amazing! The staff that did help us was absolutely the best!

This property is stunning and so well designed. It’s quaint and classy. The food in the restaurant is delicious, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the common area is well set up. I had the junior suite with a private pool and it was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay. The only downside is that it’s on a long dirt road off the main road and I didn’t feel comfortable walking down it (single female). I think if I was with another person I wouldn’t have felt that way. However you can order a tuktuk no problem and they will take you almost anywhere for 300 shn. Also the one morning when I was meeting a driver for some diving the security guard walked me along the road and was very nice about it. I absolutely loved my stay here and would highly recommend it.

Not worth it

It is far away from the beach and they are all nice when everything goes well. When there is challenges they becomes very rude and not what you expect when you pay more than 200 usd for one night. The food is okay compared to Kenya but very expensive compare to what you get. The nearby beach is not very nice and cannot be used for bathing. The other public beaches are okay but a lot of people who will approached you again and again. Next time I will find a resort at the beach with international service level.

The building is beautifully designed. The restaurant is separate to the main buildings. Swimming pool is like a a very big bath. Room was great

Worst experience ever

We ordered the hotel with breakfast included but when we should check out the charged us for the breakfast. The hotel could not see that we ordered with breakfast but we could show them our reservations with breakfast. They became very rude and refused us to leave before we paid.

Simply the best.

A perfectly delightful spot with NOTHING to criticise. Charming place, delightful Italian owner Antonio, lovely pool for proper swimming. Excellent staff - we would single out Karole for being helpful, friendly, funny and generally wonderful. Frank was also great. Ok it’s not right ON the beach but it’s not far and they will provide a tuktuk to take you there if you want. We didn’t because we’d already been there and we just wanted to relax around the pool. Nothing to fault and it would be my first choice for the place to stay if we went to this part of Kenya again.

Great staff make it a great stay

First impressions were not great as it looked grubby but once you see the whole picture you can see it is the aged look they are after. It is a very nice, safe and quiet location. They can arrange tuk-tuks or cars to take you anywhere. The room was spacious and cleaned well on a daily basis. A nice breakfast was on offer. Ann on reception was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. All other staff were excellent and so friendly. Some of the rooms have a private splash pool. Lovely main pool as well. Recommended

Lovely property and very relaxing stay. With the peace of being a 2 minute walk away from the busy Main Street of Diani beach, this property is both very convenient for explorers and the loungers. The property is super clean and the room service is very prompt. Karol, frank, Vicky, Ann & Erick were all very accommodating and did everything they can to make our stay comfortable. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh so even if you aren’t staying there call for reservations- one of the best throughout the strip. Only thing I will say is, I hope the owner upkeeps the rooms just not the aesthetic of the overall property. There can be a little tweaks made for the upkeep and sustainability of the individual rooms but other than that amazing.

The Villa Luxury Suites Hotel was a wonderful little getaway in Diani. Just a 10 minute walk to Carrefour/Java, with many shops/restaurants in walking distance. If you opt for breakfast included, you get a well-balanced 3-course meal (fruits, savory, and sweets). Dinner was amazing, we had the garlic-lemon seafood platter and loved it. It was a healthy portion that left us both super full. Staff were really attentive and accommodating to our last minute requests for laundry service. They also helped us sort out some transportation when needed. The room was kept very clean, with good AC and good water pressure. Especially loved the hotel's use of eco-friendly soaps and solar powered water heaters. Garden and pool area nice and quiet, perfect for reading. Only complaint we had was that the bed was a bit creaky. Definitely felt like it might give in under our weight at times. There were also a few ants around, mostly black ants that don't bite. This, however, was understandable as we were on the ground floor. Overall, great place that we would definitely come back to.

A hidden Gem! I wonderful place within Diani Beach. The property, ambiance, atmosphere are outstanding for its location. A beautiful and peaceful place. Attention to detail throughout! The staff "Top of the Line and extremely friendly" insuring everything is to your liking- every staff member from security at point of entry on! The breakfasts were wonderful. Served and presented professionally, providing a wonderful start to each day! We returned for a unexpected second stay we loved it so much. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner: Antonio. What a wonderful man. He is well loved by the staff and cares greatly about the property and your stay! This place is a must stay in my opinion. It does not have direct beach access, but the hotel assists you in transportation to the beach daily if needed. Thank you! I hope to be back soon!

The Zen Garden of hotels in Kenya

We stayed only one night on our way back to Nairobi but the tranquil garden setting, our room, the facilities and friendly service were second to none during our two week Kenyan coast trip. Lovely hotel pool, but the private pool that came with the suite was what made it for us. Close to restaurants and the beach also. This will be the only place we’ll ever stay in Diani going forward.

The staff were friendly, rooms were good. There is nothing I could fault about this property. It was very peaceful and quite, that was the only negative, if you could call it one. We like going out and about and the location was perfect.
