I enjoyed my 3 night stay at ModernSouthHotel in diani beach that I extended my stay an additional two nights after examining other more expensive properties. Modern South has a nice pool, superb service (thanks Felix, Juma, Lugo,Patrick) from people who care, the rooms are fine (not luxurious but everything you need w plenty of space nice shower water pressure and a great firm bed w nice linens (that amazingly are changed daily!). Also, the beach is a 30 minute walk or an easy 100bob/$1usd boda ride. Make sure when arriving that you use google maps once you arrive EquityBankUkunda branch landmark. This will help ensure an efficient trip to ModernSouth wo the hunting. Highly recommend this beat value property for an excellent stay.
