"It smelled like smoke when we walked in. Gentleman at front desk was very kind & accommodating. We went to check out the room and immediately knew we wouldn’t be staying. Didn’t even bring our bags in - left and got a room at the Holday Inn. I have NEVER walked out of a hotel but it just wasn’t a good feeling by any of the 4 in our party."

"Outside the hotel needs some cement work done on porch supports. The room I had was clean and nice. The floor on the second floor was soft in front of the elevator; Breakfast is not included, just coffee. The hotel was nice, but in need of repairs by the owner. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"On a hot day, late check-in, no air conditioning, instead the baseboard heat was on. Turned the thermostat off but it stayed warm until morning. Very poorly lit premises and hallway/entrance and it stunk like musty smoke. Nothing on the website(s) indicated you have to go a half a block away to check in to get the key, and it would have been very difficult to find that place in the dark had we not randomly run into another guest. "The site is very worn. Definitely needs revamping. Not terribly clean: carpets worn, upholstery worn. Paint needs touching up. Pools not monitored or very clean. A group of young teenage boys were in the pool unsupervised and throwing a ball around hitting into our group with a young child, Our relatives asked to move rooms when theirs smelled like dog pee and they found a tick on the wall."

"Beautiful lakefront property. Enjoyed our one night stay in the Mission Point section. Would request first floor next time in this section if traveling with young children or a senior as there is no elevator. Very nice updated unit overlooking the lake on the 2nd floor with a huge balcony. We enjoyed visiting the smaller beach in the Mission Point section and getting drinks from the indoor bar in the restaurant right next to the beach.
