"A very nice option in the middle of everything! There is no elevator so try to get a room on a lower floor. Keep in mind the whole town is up as early as 4am and there is a lot of noise. It might help to post a few signs for folks to be more discreet and courteous?"

"Truly a lovely hotel! Easy access to the train station and they send someone to pick you up when you first arrive. The staff and service were all amazing and made sure our stay was very comfortable. "The views were incredible. The space was quiet and the staff friendly. The hotel is near the square and only a 5 minute walk from the market/train/bus stations, but far enough away from the most active places to be calming. Be mindful of the hike up to the hotel! If you can pack extra light, do so. I was lucky to meet a couple of young men to help carry my suitcase up the flights of stairs and the hotel host carried it down for me when I left."

"On the morning of October 1st we were caught in a heavy downpour at Machu Picchu and ended up completely soaked. Even though we had already checked out, we went back to the Inkaterra front desk in the afternoon to ask for help. The two ladies and one gentleman who received us were absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, and very efficient. "Room itself was spotless. Neatly kept. Huge bed. Four people can fit in one bed and then another queen bed. Not sure why we need such a bug room. No A/c probably because it is alway cold there but that gives the room a moist smell. The tap in the sink was leaking a bit but that is just ours. "
