"Glad to see there is a place to stay near Calico now. Excellent deal, easy check-in/check-out, clean room, very friendly staff, and lots of parking, not much else I can ask for. It's adjacent to Penny's Diner which is open 24-hours, and then a short walk past that is an AM/PM. Across Ghost Town Rd there is a Jack-in-the-Box (where I grabbed my coffee before heading out) and Peggy Sue's 50's Diner (excellent country fried steak and mashed potatoes). Right on the other side of the freeway...
