Two staff members cleaned the room prior to arrival with no smell reported. A staff member also checked the room this morning again with no smell present. However we did offer the guest a room swap, however, we did not hear from them.

Sorry Samantha to hear that your stay was disappointing for you. I will address a couple of things- one we will look into why Expedia states room service, as we never have had room service in the entire 11 years of being here. If you are meaning Housekeeping then that is upon request, which in your case being a one-night stay, you would not have needed it. Regarding after-hours support, there is a very big difference between technical support and a cable missing - which we apologize for as we did not know the cable was missing. A quick call to us, we would have had a staff member come to you asap and get it working. The TV should still be able to pick up the internet allowing access to Netflix etc. Again just a quick call and we would have got you set up. Unfortunately, the air con did die about a week before, and an oil heater has temporarily been placed into the room, which other guests have reported worked quite sufficiently. Even though yes, a few things were not quite right for you a quick call to our 24 phone number, would have resolved most of the issues for you and given you a more pleasant stay.

Sorry to hear that you were not comfy in our bed, we do understand that there is no bed like your own. Staff are available 24/7 via phone. At 11.30pm all other motels would not be contactable. A quick call us - even at 11.30pm we would have contacted the noisy guests for you. This is sent to your mobile at check-in and also displayed on our information TV at reception. Hi Maree, sorry to hear that the bed was terrible. Room 18 is one of our most popular rooms, but we will check it out for you. Generally, there is always a small long life carton of milk in the fridge... so our apologizes if that wasn't the case. A quick phone call and we would of been able to help get some milk to you. Hi Marlene, we are sorry to hear that this happened during your stay. It is not a regular event, and yes we did try to evict this woman - however when the police arrived she had already done a runner. In regards to the security deposit, it is in our terms and conditions that 100 security deposit is required, we also send a text to let guest know that it they have a credit card (not a debt) then we can avoid that fee but customers need to contact us. Why do we require a security deposit - it is common to pay security deposit in case of any incidentals that may occur - broken lamp, stolen tv remote or the blue moon customer that does a runner with the door key...
