Beautiful stay at whale house, we will be back. Simple check in, amazing hot tub views and everything you need. Such a short walk to the fork for one of Newfoundland's best restaurants.

We loved our stay at the Whale Guest House -- we stayed in the Blue House. It was easy to find and check in/out, impecably clean, comfortable bed and shower, and has amazing views of the surrounding bay and open ocean in the distance from inside and the outdoor patios. The host / staff were incredibly helpful before hand with information on local restraunts and things to see or do (including boat local boat tour recommendations), and we arrived earlier than planned and allowed us to check in in advance which was greatly appretiated. On our final night we treated ourselves to an amazing hot tub under the full harvest moon reflecting over the Atlantic - it was a perfect way to wrap up our stay in Newfoundland. Thank you!

The unit with the kitchen was a bit tight for a long term stay, but it was well maintained and the hot tub was a great addition

Beautiful view, trails nearby and the bed is comfortable. Loved the hottub. The only critique was there was only a tiny sink in the bathroom, making it difficult to clean kitchen utensils. Overall would highly recommend, we would definitely go back again.

We were so pleasantly surprised with how cute and cozy our little Guest House/room was. It was so modern and well equipped with everything we would have needed within the kitchen and a bonus was we were able to use the sauna in the evening before our sleep! Thank you for providing us with a wonderful and comfortable overnight stay! Would have loved to have stayed longer but we we needed to continue on our road trip route.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Orca room. It is a smaller room and does not have an AC. Overall this was reasonable value for the price. It was perfect for the 2 of us.

Great property love the theme and the units are cute and very comfortable only issue I had was the people upstairs very noisy when they are walking around almost sounds like stomping woke me up a few times so be mindful other than that I would recommend Whale House

I stayed at Orca Room - A lovely room with a small kitchenette and a bathroom. There was nicely scented shower gel and shampoo. The location is very quiet, right on the water. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs, as the rooms are a bit noisy. I was prepared, so everything was fine. Thank you.

Lovely location, right on the East Coast Trail. Easy to find. Sauna was wonderful. Room was great - cooking facilities were nice to reduce eating out costs. Could hear people in adjacent rooms (just everyday noises, they were not being particularly noisy/partying).

The view and bed were great! The very large room was clean and well decorated. The one major problem that we had with this establishment was their obsession with water conservation. There was a kitchen but no kitchen sink. The bathroom had the one and only sink which measured four by seven inches. There is a timer in the shower for five minutes for your shower. This would be plenty if the shower jet were stronger. This was a spot that I could see retreating to do a lengthy stay if there was a better way to clean the dishes and myself!

Orca room was so nice and cozy, we enjoyed a lot, use bbq and walked up to the ocean.Next time definitaly will book earlier to get ocean view with bounus a hot tub.Till next year.Happy holidays season.Thanks for positive vibes.🍁⭐️💗

We came in off our ECT hike and our first impressions of the property were awesome! We loved the wild flower garden and the cute little labeled doors added to the ambience. We stayed in the humpback suite and the hot tub was divine. The room was well sized, and the distance to the closest convenience store was perfect as was the great on site BBQ and utensils. The bathroom was decent... there was some mildew in the caulking of the shower and some hair from the last guest. Be careful on the shower! Im not sure if it was the cleaner that was used but it was so slippery we had to brace ourselves in order to stay standing. We were happy to be off trail and enjoying the Gull calls until the chorus of stomping started followed by moving of furniture upstairs. Literally non stop until about 10pm and then started again around 5 am. Which is too bad as I was really hoping to finally sleep in! While the property was cute and quaint and I understand the vision I for one would choose somewhere else to stay if you are looking to relax and get some sleep!

This place is an absolute must! Jennifer was so fast responding, super sweet, and this place was absolutely beautiful. Very environmentally friendly. The hot tub was super clean and all ready when we got there. We will definitely be back😊
