"The staff could barely speak English. When I arrived at 2 pm I couldn’t get my room and was not even offered to rest at the lounge. It was a rainy day and I had to kill time outside until 3 pm. Also I wasn’t told that the vanity essentials were located at the front desk and that caused inconvenience during the time I stayed at this hotel. I didn’t eat there and cannot comment on food quality but I appreciated the free and good quality coffee."

"The location of the hotel is excellent and the staff were polite and helpful. The ferry service to and from Miyajima was convenient and the views around the property were beautiful. However, the rooms felt quite dated and in need of renovation. There was also a noticeable smell throughout the room and parts of the hotel, which affected the overall comfort of our stay. Given the price, I expected more modern accommodations and a fresher atmosphere. Overall, the service and location were strong...

"The property is very nice, clean and modern. The living room is a comfortable place to relax. Please be aware that this is a 3 bedroom property and the other rooms will be occupied by other guests. The kitchen, living room, toilets, and bathroom are all shared with the other guests. The house is lovely but has very thin walls and doors and you can hear all the other guests, even when they are trying to be very quiet. If the other guests leave early in the morning you will very likely be woken...
