"This place was amazing - pretty much a fabulous sushimi restaurant with a guesthouse on top. We (family of 5) had the run of the place and were treated to exceptional dinners and breakfast everyday. The owner even took us out one night with kitchen leftovers so the kids could feed the local deer. If you stay here, come hungry to every dinner!"

"A gorgeous property, top notch and caring service, wonderful food and a beautiful onsen. This is a spectacular place for a stay on Miyajima. We arrived early and our bags were quickly stored. Check in was smooth. The room was large and had a beautiful view of the foliage on the mountainside and sound of the nearby creek. It was so quiet and peaceful! "We stayed in the room with the open air bath and it was a beautiful room. The open air bath was worth it with a view of the famous gate. The staff was amazing and so respectful. The location was close to the shrine and shops and not far from the rope pull to go to top of mountain. Highly recommend this hotel! "

"If I could rate this hotel 11/10, I would. Breathtaking views from our gorgeous room with tatami, futon and private bathroom. There's a traditional Japanese shared bath in basement too. It's about 200m from ferry and 300m or so from the shrine. Don't stay anywhere else"

"Extremely convenient location across from the JR Ferry terminal. The staff was so friendly and accommodating to our 2 year old. The room and bath were beautiful. Breakfast buffet was great and the free drinks/treats in the lobby were a nice addition"

"The views from our room were spectacular. The staff were very friendly. Lots of free amenities for the guests. The only draw back was that they did not have options for vegetarian. If you have specific dietary restrictions please let them know in advance so they can accommodate. When I booked the hotel there was no option for me to mention’s dietary restrictions. "
