"If you are planning on spending a night in Miyajima, this hotel was fantastic. The staff is amazing, they pick you up and drop you off to the ferry terminal, even though it is a 6/7 minute walk. There is a small japanese garden and a public bath. The island itself is magical, small and cute. The restaurants close early and some open until 8:30, but it might be a good idea to find same day reservations once you find where you want to eat. "This place was amazing - pretty much a fabulous sushimi restaurant with a guesthouse on top. We (family of 5) had the run of the place and were treated to exceptional dinners and breakfast everyday. The owner even took us out one night with kitchen leftovers so the kids could feed the local deer. If you stay here, come hungry to every dinner!"

"If I could rate this hotel 11/10, I would. Breathtaking views from our gorgeous room with tatami, futon and private bathroom. There's a traditional Japanese shared bath in basement too. It's about 200m from ferry and 300m or so from the shrine. Don't stay anywhere else"

"My family of 9 are travel Japan to meet family and for leisure. Taxi to the hotel was less than 10,000 yen (about $5 US). It is walking distance to the Peace Memorial and the ferry to Mt. Miyajama. I did not reserve breakfast and wish I had. My granddaughter has Celiac Disease, so many times there is nothing for her to eat. They offered eggs, rice, sausage, and fruit that were all wheat-free. There were so many options. "
