"The experience here was truly something else! Never stayed in a place like this. Our room was basic (traditional Japanese) and our meal was delicious served in the room. The amenities were excellent including baths and a lounge that included snacks and drinks upstairs. The location was incredibly close to everything on Miyajima and it felt special to be here once all of the tourists had left for the day. "

"The hotel is fantastic. Location is ideal, steps away from the ferry terminal and a short walk from the shore across from the O-torii gate. Staff is always helpful and courteous, the room was wonderful, with a view of the harbor. There is a bar that serves good food next to the lobby, and a great bakery for breakfast. "Shuttle for bags during the day and a shuttle to get you to the hotel later that day was excellent.
Room was beautiful and peaceful. Food was fantastic as were all of the staff! "

"Hotel was easily walkable from the ferry with a little hill at the very end. Very nice room and super nice staff. The Ryokan had more of a corporate feel but still nice. If I were to plan my trip to Japan all over I wouldn't spend the night on Miyajima and would instead just make the island a long day trip. This was my most expensive hotel of my two week trip and while nice, clean, and a good traditional breakfast I don't think it was worth the money."

"The staff was terrific; very kind and attentive. The view of the Tori gate was incredible from our room. Food was wonderful and there was a lot of it!
More that anything, Miyajima is just a wonderful place! If we can manage it we will go back! Also, they have no issue with tattoos in the onset, which is a plus for me!"
