We were traveling after a funeral and really needed an uplifting place to stay on our drive back home. We did not regret booking here. "I booked a room at the last minute on a whim, for a quick getaway. Nice room, with a view of the parking lot. (I got the room at a deeply discounted rate: it would have been double the price to face the Gulf of Mexico. No biggie!) The casino is one large room--a bit loud, though that is to be expected for this type of establishment. Smoking is permitted, so if that is a deterrent, the non-smoking Palace Casino is a short drive (longish walk) from Harrah's. There are multiple dining options near the pool and in the casino itself, and other restaurants offsite but nearby. It isn't the nicest casino in Biloxi, but it's above average--at a much better price than its competitors."
