Beachfront Hotel
5/5 Excellent
"My wife and I were just passing through but this looked like a good bet and we're SO GLAD we stopped here. Inside it's an ordinary hotel, except the staff are super friendly and personable, it was very clean and moderately comfortable, and the king sized bed was great (some space age foam that feels hard at first but then envelopes you in a cloud of ease).
And then there's the outside. The beach is roomy, the furniture is in good shape, there's a small pier to the lake, and they even have two grills. And they even arranged a beautiful sunset for us. This turned the stay from just a stop to a little honeymoon installment (yes, we have modest tastes).
We didn't have a balcony room facing the lake, our room was a walkout onto the parking lot, but fortunately right behind the Level 2 EV charger, which I was counting on and did not disappoint. (However, there's only one cable, so if there's more than one EV, you'll have to take turns).
Breakfast was limited. That's the worst I can come up with. If we pass this way again, this is where we'll stay,
