"I stayed in the McCulloch Suite in the Sion Bass House (one of the two adjacent historic homes which make up this property). The suite was very spacious and clean. The check-in instructions which were emailed the day of check-in were very clear. There was a folding ironing board, iron, lots of extra towels, literature related to the history of the property and the city (for anyone who might be interested). "The hotel was good overall, and I would stay there again. However, the “hot” pool was not actually hot — it was only slightly warm. I also had a negative experience with one of the staff members when I asked if they could open the door between the hotel and the garage. She responded rudely and pointed out that there was a sign saying the door was out of service."

"The place was clean and the staff was very helpful! However There was only 1 of the 2 bottles of "complimentary" (aka $2/ea.) water in our room when we arrived. The A/C was not working. We were woken up by construction very early Saturday morning. The final straw was when we returned to our room that night and could hear 2 small dogs barking in the room next door. Not something the hotel could prevent, but was the last thing we could put up with after trying to work with the other issues....

"I got 2 rooms for 2 nights, the staff was great, breakfast was great, but we had our hearts set on the pool it was the biggest part of our stay other than my husband going to the wrestling event, however unbeknownst to us the swimming pool was being worked on and not a drop of water was in it. They moved my sister to several rooms due to broken pull out beds, and to throw in the towel she found a roach crawling on the wall in the bathroom. "New, clean, and such comfortable beds!!!!! Breakfast was good and the location is really convenient. "

"The room was comfortable enough. There are no grab bars in the shower/bath. There are no coffee makers in the rooms. If you want coffee or decaf in your room either bring your own coffee and maker, or instant. I burned myself twice trying to carry coffee to my room. The breakfast lady is gold and the food she prepares is good."

"The hotel is going through renovation. There's a lot of construction debris. On Saturday morning construction noise started at 6:30am. I found it dishonest there's no mention of construction on the hotel booking website or third party website. Luckily the room we got has already gone through the renovation so it was clean. The breakfast was okay, stuff were friendly."
