This hotel was a highlight of our trip and easily our favourite in Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better- right on the beach and just a short walk to Coconut Tree Hill, Parrot Rock, and plenty of dining options. We were so impressed by the ocean-view rooms that we upgraded on the spot, and it made our stay even more special. We’re already looking forward to our next visit

Sea World Boutique is a FANTASTIC hotel - we loved our stay there. The hotel itself is stunning (the pictures don't even do the beauty of the location justice!) but more than that, the staff are wonderfully welcoming, so friendly and it was a difficult day when we had to leave! Thanks to everyone for a brilliant few days in paradise.

Great place with amazing service.

Great location with a nice pool overlooking the ocean. The service was amazing. Rooms were comfortable. Rooms by the street are very noisy. Would definitely come back.

Went there as a family and booked two rooms overlooking the ocean (2nd floor). It was magical. Comfy beds, beautiful ocean and sunset views, great pool and direct beach access, and wonderful staff who were always on hand to help. Breakfast was brilliant - fruit platter, fresh juice, choice of eggs (recommend the Sri Lanka omelette) and pancakes. Absolutely loved our stay here - I could sit on the balcony and look at the ocean for a week. Note: We were there late October, so the hotel was quite inexpensive and there were only few guests. Note2: If you go to Mirissa, have dinner at Nautica. You won't regret it.

This property is in a great location, right on the beach a minute walk to the main area at turtle bay and 5-15 minute walk to most restaurants in Mirissa. The bus stop is also conveniently right outside the hotel. The pool however was not clean with tissues etc at the bottom , and the room smelt of damp. The manager was extremely helpful throughout our stay.

Beautiful rooms and friendliest staff

We stayed for three nights with our 1 year old baby. The staff are excellent, so welcoming, and attentive and really enjoyed playing with our son. We had a sea view room, the view is beautiful, and the bathroom and shower were excellent - you can see the sea from the shower! The staff provided a lovely wooden cot which was perfect for our son. The cot fit next to the bed and the bed’s mosquito net covered the cot. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were very accommodating of our child’s needs. All in all, we would recommend to other families and travellers. The staff are a credit to the place.

Lovely small boutique hotel

We only stayed for one night however the hotel was lovely. Small boutique hotel right on the beach with lovely pool. You can access the beach and do snorkelling to see turtles and can walk up to the coconut trees. Approx 5 minutes in a tuk tuk to mirissa for a very small fare. Hotel staff went above and beyond for everything we needed. The WiFi worked however wasn’t strong enough in our room for us to fill in our visa for Malaysia so they put a router in our room! Would recommend and would stay again

Beatiful and well located

First reservation was pushed three days by hotel. I couldn't puch the trip som I made a new reservation which was paid and confirmed. At arrival it was not there and I had to pay an upgrade for a nicer room. I got 5% of the full price even though it was the hotells mistake. Also I had to pay cash or accept a credit card fee at 4%. The hotel it self is very nice and calm right by the sea. The sea front rooms are fantastic and service level is high. Without the administrative hassle it woudl be perfect. Close to Mirissa beach which can be reached along the beach if you are a bit agile with a somewhat rocky path along the beach.

We had a very nice stay there deluxe sea view room was amazing. Great views, easy beach access, view from the bed and shower. Clean and friendly staff. Nassim the manager was very helpful and arranged a taxi for us to Negombo.

Booked for one night but ended up staying a day longer. Charming tiny hotel in a popular strip. The location is right off the main road with plenty of dining options nearby. Direct view of the Indian ocean from the bed in the mornings and evening is breathtaking. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Request for a "devilled chicken" to have with a cold Lion beer. A truly Sri Lankan experience. Bravo Sea World Boutique Hotel.

Very happy with our stay at this boutique hotel

Directly on the beach with some nice snorkeling spots, although the main beach in Mirissa is nicer for just swimming. Lovely small pool area. Great, personal, warm, but at the same time professional service, especially from the front desk manager as well as the pool guys. Deluxe rooms were fantastic with bonus points for shower, bed and balcony which has great views to the sea. But I would emphasize that the service was just superb. If I have to come up with some cons, walk to the town takes around 10 minutes by a busy road. Also, the room price is on the more expensive side and could be somewhat lower. Now it is on par with European prices for similar hotels. However, totally worth it for a few nights. Pool bar food and beverage also slightly overpriced.

We booked a room for 3 adults and paid extra and unfortunately the bed we were provided was terrible not suitable for a child let alone and adult… the property should not be advising the option of three adults in a room. Otherwise the property was nice. Close to Cocunut hill and about 15 mins to walk to town. Luckily Dimat working in the restaurant saved the property! He greeted us every morning with a big smile on his face…. Nothing was ever a problem he is an amazing asset to the property

Das Personal ist super hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Hotel ist direkt am Stand, von der Terasse aus kann man das Getümmel auf dem Coconut Tree Hill beobachten. Kurzer Weg zu diesem beliebten Ort. Man ist schnell im Zentrum. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Strasse, da war es tagsüber laut. Nachts kein Problem. Wifi war nicht so gut. Frühstück lecker. Mittagessen hatten wir auch einmal a la cart bestellt, war gut! Ausreichend Liegen und Sitzplätze vorhanden.
