"The hotel put us in room 1002. Check in was fine, and the evening was fine, but the next morning, the sun shined into our window, so I wanted to turn on the A/C. Nope! The manager said that part of the hotel does not have A/C. None of the rooms in that section of the hotel have A/C. I was very upset! The best they could do is provide a portable fan. Unacceptable! That same morning we were scheduled to check out, so of course I was not about to change rooms. The hotel should have told us that those rooms in that part of the hotel did NOT have A/C. They did not offer anything (free breakfast or free drinks) as a compensation. Poor judgement on their part!"

"The staff were incredibly helpful in arranging our taxis from the Quito airport to Mindo and back. Nice grounds, we were not there long enough to take a swim but the pool looked nice. Would recommend and would stay again."
