The staff was kind and attentive. The room was still dirty when we checked in. Housekeeping needs to make sure the linen is cleaned and the beds are changed (there were crumbs under the blankets on both beds and dirty clothes-including dirty pair of boxers) behind the stand and the bathroom tub had mold and walls were crumbling. AGAIN the staff was really sweet and kept the lobby clean and had fresh coffee. It’s a bed & shower for when you’re either pressed for cash and/or just need a bed behind a closed door & cheap.

Nothing fancy and no special amenities, but a safe, clean, low-cost night of sleep near the airport. Staff was welcoming & helpful, bed was comfortable, shower was great. I appreciated the cleanliness and the feeling of security. Staff was very accommodating & friendly.

Cheap but comfortable

I got what I paid for. Cheap, no frills, but a comfortable bed and a warm shower. The building is getting a bit beaten, but it wasn't unpleasant in any way. Excellent access to public transit.

Really great staff. It seems like it needs some maintenance, but they were doing a bunch of work while I was there. I liked how quiety room was, even with work going on and rooms occupied. I had a nice stay, and would stay there again

The staff was friendly. They were very pet friendly!! The room floor was not well swept. The sheets had lint and hair in them. Police lights showed up in our windows in the middle of the night. My wife will undoubtedly never let me book another Motel "5" (less than her expectations) again ☹️

Front desk staff was amazing however the hallway carpet was greasy and smelled like weed, then the room: smelled like a cross of mothballs and smoke, fuzzy dust chunks coming out the AC, toilet was caked with dirt/scum, soda bottle under the cabinet, screw sticking out of the doorknob, sticky floor, mold on window area, etc. I'm not sure this room was ever cleaned. A guest blaring their TV until wee hours of the morning. It was gross and I didn't feel safe.

You get what you pay for! The carpet in the hallways looked like they've never been cleaned. The door to the room's bathroom was missing a portion of the bottom of it. There were lots of people in the parking lot at all times, looks as if many of the occupants are residents. My friend says she heard ppl at 3am. I DIDN'T notice any critters and it seemed to be clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

The staff is really great the property however has much to be desired. It needs lots of work done like simply replacing the hallways carpet would do wonders cause the current carpet is so old and dingyy looking and new would just brighten up the place tons

I knew I wouldn’t be getting the Four Seasons when I booked here, but I’ve stayed in crack dens nicer than this. I’m not joking. I wish I could post pictures because it’s honestly remarkable that this place is still open and hasn’t been shut down by the city. But then again, this is Milwaukee. Anyways, when I walked in the desk lady helped us out and and sent someone up with us to get in the room and get settled. The stairway stunk of mold really bad, and somehow the room smelt worse. There was a (third) hole in our sink, the last guest must have thought the sink filled up much too quickly and needed another one to help drain it, right into the cabinet. Secondly, the AC wasn’t sealed to the wall. The drywall around the window was rotting out. Last but certainly not least, the mold! The bathroom was covered in black mold. It could have been missed by the multiple house keepers, who probably all have a rare type of color blindness that mixes the shade of brown and black. The staff were very polite and friendly. Probably the only thing this property has going for it. I left right after I saw the room. To the jacka*** that owns this: I hope you drown in fines To the staff: thank you for numbing the pain To the reader: thank you for coming to my TED talk. Don’t book this place. This review is the best thing you’ll get out of it.
