We stood one night at Cambria Hotel and it was our first time at this hotel. Even though we were there for short time but we enjoyed our time. Room & bathroom were beautiful and very clean. Staff during check in and out were very nice and pleasant. We end up having breakfast the morning that we were checking out, which was better than I expected. Overall, everything was great except they need more staff at night in case someone needs something, so it can be brought to the room. Thank you for your great hospitality.

Hotel room itself was cute. Tv wasn’t working - it wouldn’t connect so we couldn’t watch anything. Blinds are controlled by a button but wouldn’t go up much. Room cleanliness 6/10. Some dark spots on bed sheets. Floors still had some debris and shower wasn’t the cleanest.

Arrived at 2 am only to find out if we would have arrived at 3 am like our friends we wouldn’t have been charged for that night, but nobody told us. Had issues getting towels, the bartender couldn’t understand English well, so getting a drink took 20 minutes when the bar had 10 people in it, then they didn’t know what Coors light was or where to find it. Walls were paper thin so we could hear everything, overall was a bit disappointed.

Swing and a miss remodel
Ok, so i got there and the room wasnt ready. I wS there at 4:45 and check in starts at 4. So I along with other guests, stood around waiting. Finally I got my room key and headed up. The room had not been cleaned, very obviously. Went back down and to their credit, was given an upgraded room thay was available. It had been cleaned so started to settle in. Upon closer inspection... the undermount bathroom sink had become detached from the counter and was very unstable. Some of the "baseboard" (read: cheap rubber edging) had come off the wall, half of the outlets by the bed didnt work, half the ceiling lights were missing and just capped holes, in other words, it was a cheap messy unskilled remodel with so many corners cut it was a circle. Not to mention the vinyl plank floors appear nice until you realize the upstairs neighbors also have them and there is apparently no sound insulation...

NO GOOD LIGHTING. ONE OF THE LIGHTS DID NOT WORK. IRONING BOARD WAS BROKE. FRONT DESK WAS NOT ANSWERING THERE PHONES. THE BREAKFAST STAFF WAS A NO SHOW. ONLY GOOD THING WAS THEY LET US CHECK OUT AT 12 NOON. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO THIS HOTEL.

Overall happy with our stay
We stayed a weekend with a 3 and 6 yr old. Main reason for picking the hotel was the price and pool. However, Friday the pool was down. Luckily the next day it was up and running but we didn’t have much time Saturday to use it. We had to squeeze it in. The beds were comfortable and the decor was cute and modern. I personally liked the shower. It was easy to get too coming from Chicago.
