I liked the cleaners, the staff were knowledgeable and kind. The room was big and spacious. I did not like was that it was cool at night and it was not possible to turn on the hot air.

I really wanted to like this place but will not be recommending this hotel to my followers or clients. I arrived early and was able to check in but was told the room won’t be ready until 2 and to come back to get the keys. When I go back to get the keys, I was told about the daily tax (which I knew About) and a $50 holding fee. Knowing this is normal when checking into hotels, I had No problem with the $50 hold. That was until a lady whom I just met told me not to let them charge for the hold. She said the couple who checked in before me was told that there is no holding fee. When I asked the clerk what is the standard procedure for the hold, she simply said she’ll waive it. When I asked Why was I initially being charged and the previous guests weren’t, she said don’t worry about it because she will not charge it anymore. I said thank you, I understand that but I’d like to know how this usually works, so that I can Share this process with my travel community & clients but no solid explanation was provided other than to not worry about it. I understand that they have a right to charge for the hold, but it would have been nice to know what was the standard for one guest being charged vs others, so that I can share this information with my followers and clients when recommending hotels in Milan. This was very disappointing and I would not recommend staying here.
